13 American TV Shows That Need To Comeback ASAP

We can really never get tired of talking about growing up because for us, that was a beautiful experience, unlike this adulthood thing that is happening now.

And since we’re talking about growing up, there were some amazing TV shows that kept us glued to our seats. They were not telenovelas, like the likes of Diego and Paloma and all the others but they were actual TV shows – all American and we stayed glued to them most times on Cadbury Breakfast Show.

Here are a few American TV shows we won’t mind to come back, or maybe a station starts showing rerun episodes.


1. Fresh Prince of Bel Air

We all remember Will Smith who moved from Philadelphia to Bel Air to live with Aunt Vivian and Uncle Phil. Hilarious show!

2. Sister Sister

Tia and Tamera were separated at birth and adopted by two different parents and one day they meet while shopping at a clothing store which leads to Tamera’s adoptive father allowing Tia and her adoptive mum move in.

3. Friends

Six BFFs, three girls, and three guys live together in the same apartment complex in New York and we watch hilarious details of their lives. The theme song was everything by the way.

4. Saved By The Bell

Saved by the Bell showed us everything about six students of Bayside High School. lives, crushes and pranks of six Bayside High School students. Headed by cutie leader Zach, the six are reminiscent of modern day “Archie” characters, complete with Jughead-like character Screech.

5. The Cosby Show

The Cosby Show” centers on the lives of the Huxtables: obstetrician Cliff and his lawyer wife Claire, their daughters Sondra, Denise, Vanessa and Rudy, and son Theo. It, however, ended in 1992.

Sabrina was that teenage witch who found out about her powers when she turned 16. Together with Aunt Zelda and Hilda and that magical witch turned cat, they guide Sabrina on how to use her powers.

7. Kenan and Kel

Kenan and Kel are two friends whose dreams are enough to last a lifetime and they are always up to something crazy.

8. Family Matters

Family Matters was one of the best American TV shows at that time. Meet Carl and Henriette’s family and everybody’s favorite character, Steve.

10. Doogie Howser

Our first meet with amazing Neil Patrick Harris was on Doogie Howser where he was the brilliant Dr. Doogie that we all wanted to be. Remember those words he ended up typing at the end of the show?

11. Moesha

Moesha Mitchell is a teenager juggling school, friendships, and romance. Previously the female head of the household, she is learning to love and trust her father’s new wife. While at home, she does her best to be the “glue” that helps hold her family together.

13. Buffy The Vampire Slayer

Sunday nights were for Buffy The Vampire Slayer and there was something good about seeing Buffy destroy vampires, demons and other forces of darkness.
